Everybody who loves Cinema 4D, check out the latest version.
Although it´s a minor update, it is full of cool new and useful features.
Here is what I found out after dismantling it for two hours:

You can adjust brightness, contrast and even exposure while rendering. It takes effect when the render job is finished.

There is a complete player and render history now. You can create a direct A/B comparison between two renders or watch the finished frames of an animation while it is still rendering.

There is a really cool new shader called camera. You can choose any camera in the scene and use what the camera sees as a texture in the same process. So you can create security cameras linked to screens or stuff like that.

There´s a HUGE material preset base now. Hundreds of seriously useful textures and shaders.

and Mograph 2.0...



Mograph was one of the coolest modules for Cinema 4D. Arranging hundreds of thousands of objects. Align them to the volume or surface of an object, move along splines or create cool spring delay animations, but...
Mograph 2.0 is all new.
Image you create a desk scene and you want to put pencils in a cup. Now you can just let them fall into the cup while shaking the cup in realtime. Everything reacts realistic. You can even create astrophysical simulations by giving the object own mass gravity.
Forget crappy C4D Dynamics. Mograph 2 is really accurate and quick.
You can create trasitions between the physical and the nonphysical mode or use the coolest mode:
Follow animation. In this mode, your old mograph 1.0 animations become way more realistic by adding collision, inertia and gravity to them.
